About the position

Post Consumer Brands is looking for a creative and talented Content Creator to join our Pet Creative Studio team and help us engage our audience with compelling content. This role will work primarily on social media content, but will also have the opportunity to flex supporting the design team as needed to create ecomm product content, instore materials, tradeshow materials and other digital content. This role requires the ability to shoot social creator style video and photography, write copy/content and execute communications with good design skills. It's imperative that this person stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools and technologies in the content marketing space. This includes keeping an eye on changes in social media algorithms and consumer behavior to ensure content remains fresh and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with PCB social media and IMC teams from concepting to execution on both planned and opportunistic social content.
  • Ensure alignment with our pet brands' social media strategies, trends, and channel best practices.
  • Uphold consistency in brand voice and tone.
  • Capture and edit social-forward, creator-style content with minimal direction and oversight.
  • Write engaging social and digital copy.
  • Help populate social content calendars with finalized content.
  • Analyze reporting generated by our social media team to understand performance of content and apply these learnings to future content development.
  • Primary focus is on creating engaging social content across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience.
  • Creative agency experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Familiarity with social media channels, native creator tools, and trends.
  • Knowledge of digital cameras for both video and photography.
  • Photo, video and post-production editing skills.
  • Good graphic and motion design skills.
  • Strong writing and proofing skills to ensure all content is error-free and aligned with brand voice and messaging.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition, Premiere, Lightroom and After Effects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ability to pivot quickly based on new trends, previous content performance and stakeholder feedback.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • A love for animals; having access to dogs and cats to work with will also be key for this role.
  • Collaborative work with other marketing teams, designers and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with overall brand strategy.
