About the position

As a Content Author at Vituity, you will be responsible for creating and developing engaging instructional materials for various learning platforms related to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). This role is crucial in enhancing the training experience for employees and ensuring compliance with operational guidelines. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and management to design effective training solutions and support the overall learning strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain content for all RCM departments, including various training programs.
• Design and develop training solutions such as courses, curriculum, modules, scripts, and storyboards.
• Translate instructor-led classroom learning into eLearning and virtual courses using instructional design methodologies.
• Partner with RCM staff to resolve complex training or performance issues.
• Analyze information to create instructionally sound course content and supporting documentation.
• Assess current curricula and identify gaps for enhancing materials and knowledge transfer.
• Stay informed of compliance requirements and legislative changes affecting training obligations.
• Conduct research on eLearning trends and make recommendations to management.
• Travel as necessary to conduct training and attend workshops, not exceeding 25% of the time.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of technical writing, curriculum, and course development experience.
• Basic experience with eLearning systems.
• Training experience in planning, coordinating, and developing programs for employees.
• Advanced knowledge of RCM Operations (Billing and Reimbursement).
• Exemplary written and strong verbal communication skills.
• Highly creative in documentation design and content creation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong experience with Microsoft tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Sum Total Systems and/or Captivate/Storyline.
