About the position
We are seeking a skilled Content Architect to modernize our content strategy and support technology transformation efforts. This role will align content architecture with business priorities and enhance user experience, ensuring that our content strategy keeps pace with evolving business needs and technology advancements. The position is a 6-month contract with potential for extension, requiring a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the current content architecture, focusing on structure, categorization, and content flow across our platforms.
- Conduct research to evaluate how emerging technologies may impact our content architecture.
- Identify potential risks and impacts of current and future technology tools, including AI, contextual help, Adobe, Acrolinx, and Coveo.
- Develop a comprehensive set of recommendations to improve and future-proof our content strategy.
- Identify opportunities to simplify navigation and improve information accessibility for users.
- Design a content framework that supports business priorities, ensuring consistency and relevance.
- Identify ways to leverage existing platforms and reduce risk by aligning with evolving technologies.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of content management systems, UX design, search engine optimization, and AI.
- Proficient in analytical skills with experience in content architecture evaluation.
