Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in providing world-class customer service.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Proficient in basic use of Windows operating system, e-mail, and the Internet.
  • Strong communication, analytical, sales and telemarketing skills required.
  • Skillful at prioritizing work and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of member service handling requests from multiple inbound channels.
  • Identify member needs by cross selling BCU products and services, as well as optional loan and collateral protection products.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and annual sales and service goals, including phone queue service levels.
  • Determine collateral valuations.
  • Apply current BCU lending fundamentals, policies, and procedures while upholding quality standards.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of credit reports to evaluate credit standing, perform needs assessment, and identify competitor buyout opportunities.
  • Provide fundamental credit counseling to members where appropriate and necessary.
  • Work with dealerships and other finance companies when necessary.
  • Successfully complete all required registrations or certifications as needed.
