About The Position

Weaver is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our growing firm. In this role, you will independently execute key components of client engagements, including building and delivering data-driven solutions in commodity trading and energy environments. You will work with large and complex datasets, design and support data pipelines, and develop scalable reporting and analytics solutions. You are expected to operate with minimal guidance, take ownership of your work, and deliver high-quality outputs on time. This role requires strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with data modeling, SQL, Python, and ETL processes, along with a solid understanding of data architecture. Projects are often fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving, requiring you to learn quickly, adapt to new tools and environments, and solve problems with limited structure. You will work directly with team members and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and clearly communicate results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
3–5 years of experience working with data, analytics, or technology-focused roles.
Experience designing and building data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models to support reporting and analytics
Working knowledge of data architecture concepts, including data structures, system integration, and performance considerations
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
Experience working with large-scale data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar data lake technologies)
Experience working with large and complex datasets across multiple sources
Experience building and delivering data-driven solutions in project-based or client-facing environments
Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and business processes
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguous or undefined requirements
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proven ability to manage work across assignments of varying complexity
Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and explain results
Strong business and customer orientation
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
