About the position

The Consultant, Learning Business Partner (LBP) at Cardinal Health is responsible for collaborating with business leaders in the Global Technology & Business Services (GTBS) and Enterprise IT (EIT) sectors to assess learning needs and implement strategic learning projects that align with business objectives. This role involves conducting training needs assessments, developing training strategies, and managing multiple training projects to enhance employee development and organizational capability.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with global GTBS/EIT customers to conduct comprehensive training needs assessments by collaborating with business stakeholders, HR, and team leaders to identify skill gaps, development needs, and future capability requirements.
  • Establish an annual EIT training strategy based on skill and competency development and aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with SMEs, stakeholders, and Instructional Design and Development HUB resources to develop and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Build and manage multiple strategic training projects simultaneously.
  • Evaluate the ROI and effectiveness of learning solutions to ensure success and impact.
  • Prepare quarterly business reviews for GTBS/EIT customers using key training and business metrics.
  • Liaise and maintain strong partnerships with GTBS/EIT customers, Digital U program coordinators, and L&D COE partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 4+ years' experience in training and business partnering, preferred.
  • Experience working with EIT customers and familiar with areas such as artificial intelligence, agile, SAP, data analytics, enterprise data management, software development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills and work ethic.
