About The Position

Gorman & Company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to support two exciting multifamily construction projects in the Atlanta market — Residences at West End and Folio House. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, hands-on construction team focused on delivering high-quality multifamily communities that make a lasting impact. We’re looking for a strong field leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads by example, and knows how to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of Superintendent experience within multifamily construction
  • Previous experience leading full project teams on ground-up multifamily developments
  • Experience managing construction projects within the state of Georgia
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and scheduling software including Microsoft Project

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all field operations from project start through closeout for multifamily construction projects in Atlanta
  • Serve as the primary on-site leader for subcontractors, inspectors, vendors, and ownership representatives
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to maintain schedules, coordinate sequencing, and drive project milestones
  • Lead and mentor the full field project team while maintaining accountability across all trades
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, safety requirements, and company quality standards
  • Manage subcontractor coordination, inspections, deliveries, punch lists, and turnover activities
  • Maintain detailed jobsite documentation including daily logs, schedules, reports, photos, and as-built drawings
  • Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety standards through regular toolbox talks and site inspections
