About the position

We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our team, specializing in fire, wind, and water restoration projects across Greater Cincinnati, OH. The position requires managing construction sites efficiently, overseeing all activities, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and construction schedules. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a weekly on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage construction sites, overseeing all activities within the designated area.
  • Coordinate and supervise logistics, including material delivery, equipment deployment, personnel allocation, safety protocols, and adherence to construction schedules.
  • Handle property restoration and repair tasks, including water extraction, removal of damaged materials, relocation of affected contents, setup and monitoring of drying equipment, and application of antimicrobial products.
  • Perform on-site work and conduct thorough quality control and safety checks to ensure project integrity and compliance with standards.
  • Set and maintain high-performance standards for subcontractors and suppliers, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Update production files and maintain detailed job notes for comprehensive project documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of related experience or training in construction or property restoration.
  • Strong computer skills and adaptability to new software.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure guides.
  • Capability to schedule production employees and manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependability and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • IICRC Certifications and Training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Willingness to undergo a drug and background check.
