This position offers a commission-based earning potential and requires local travel within Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Responsibilities

• Execute business development strategies to generate sales from hot and cold leads.
• Pre-qualify clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Meet with clients to scope projects and gather requirements.
• Travel to project sites to collect essential information.
• Produce valid estimates for leads and maintain follow-up communication.
• Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission.
• Research and evaluate advantageous deals by assessing offers and quotes.
• Foster relationships with key vendors such as subcontractors and architects.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in construction estimating.
• 3 years of direct sales experience.
• Proficiency in CRM software and technology use.
• Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts.
• Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with estimation metrics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or equivalent qualification.
