About the position

Parsons is seeking a Construction Quality Manager to oversee quality control efforts at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. This role involves managing contractors during construction, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and coordinating with various teams to maintain project integrity. The position requires extensive experience in construction quality assurance and offers opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor QC efforts of contractors during construction, closeout, and occupancy.
• Manage the Special Inspection/QA Testing 3rd Party Test and Inspection Agency.
• Coordinate QA oversight of work performed by contractors.
• Review and provide comments on contractor QC Plans.
• Track contractor administrative and quality discrepancies to closure.
• Collaborate with assigned RE's, ARE's, Inspectors, and Design Team.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Deputy Director.

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus fifteen (15) years of construction field inspection-related experience.
• Five years in a related quality assurance or testing role.
• Minimum ten (10) years' experience as QA/QC Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of Safety Plans, QA/QC Plans, Project Procedures Manual, and Desktop Instructions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for client presentations and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of contract quality requirements and Building Codes.

Nice-to-haves

• Some knowledge of scheduling, spreadsheets, documents, and database software (such as PMWeb, P6, Excel, Word, Access).
• CACM, CCM, CAPM, or PMP certification.
