About the position

The Construction Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager role is designed to oversee and manage various construction projects, ensuring timely execution, invoicing, and collection of services. This position emphasizes building relationships to generate sales and service opportunities while providing support to estimating and production teams. The role involves both office work and occasional site visits, with a focus on maintaining customer satisfaction and developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate timely solicitation, qualifying, development, execution, invoicing, and collection for construction services.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for various projects to ensure smooth workflow and timely bid completion.
  • Provide positive support services to estimating and production teams.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and seek new business opportunities.
  • Prepare progress billings and job cost reports in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement transfer procedures for complex projects to ensure seamless transitions for clients.
  • Assist in developing manpower requirements for construction projects.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry or equivalent practical estimating or project management experience.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
  • Accuracy in work, including computer data entry.
  • Proficiency in performing mathematical calculations for report preparation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and business information.
