SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Project Engineer supports the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects while continuing to develop the professional skills necessary to advance into a Project Manager role. This position requires prior experience and/or education in the construction industry and plays a key role in supporting multiple aspects of project delivery. The Project Engineer will assist with project administration, documentation, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, procurement, communication, and other essential construction management responsibilities to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position may require occasional travel to project jobsite locations, including government military bases. In order to gain access to these jobsites, employees must be approved for base access by the government. Approval may include a background screening and verification of a valid current driver's license. Therefore, candidates for this position must be able to pass a background check and maintain a valid current driver's license. This position reports directly to the Project Manager.
