RH White Construction Co. is seeking a Construction Project Controls Manager II for Auburn, MA. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of project controls for complex construction projects, ensuring safety and quality. The position involves planning, developing, and leading the implementation of project control strategies, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices to achieve profitable performance for industrial, commercial, institutional, and other construction services. The manager will plan, organize, manage, and direct the execution of private and public construction projects valued at $25M+ in accordance with project specifications, target deadlines, budget, quality, and safety requirements. This includes managing the contracting process from pre-qualification to closeout, performing pre-construction requisites, selecting procurement methods, and applying estimation knowledge for quantity takeoffs. The role also involves preparing budget estimates, managing cost tracking, analyzing budget variances, and evaluating budget impacts of construction approaches. Additionally, the manager will oversee construction project schedules, develop action plans, and implement construction project planning, risk management, quality control, documentation, and reporting. The position requires serving as a subject matter expert on project controls, explaining contract terms, managing stakeholder relationships, and assessing organizational structure for development opportunities.
