About The Position
As a Construction Manager, you'll be at the heart of our projects, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling construction and inspection tasks. Your goal will be to ensure everything meets our client's standards for cost, quality, material usage, and safety. You'll also be the key link between the client, field personnel, and contractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field OR 4+ years of equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5+ years of Telecommunications or Fiber-Optic technical construction experience.
- Ability to manage and conduct project status / planning meetings.
Responsibilities
- Oversee contractor crews on-site, making sure they follow all project standards.
- Join project calls, keep detailed reports, and meet with clients for status updates.
- Daily communication with vendors and maintaining relationships with utility companies.
- Manage relationships with engineers and staff who design and sketch equipment installations.
- Handle material orders for planned construction.
- Keep the Project Manager or supervisor updated on construction progress.
