The Geotechnical Construction Laborer position at Schnabel involves assisting in the construction of specialty underground structures. Responsibilities

• Assist with the building of specialty underground structures.
• Operate hand and power tools including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, and small mechanical hoists.
• Work closely with site leaders to maintain a safe job site.
• Complete projects on time and under budget.
• Install soldier piles, micropiles, lagging, walers, tiebacks, and braces for support of excavation projects.
• Participate in challenging projects involving underpinning, grouting, tunneling, and unique structural support.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of construction labor work experience or a certificate from a training program.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds of materials over rough terrain.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid driver's license or other accepted legal ID.
