About the position

AECOM is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in New York, NY. This position is expected to begin in Summer 2025. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks. Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives. Performs entry level work. Follows instructions to accomplish task assigned by senior staff. Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or in another related field.
  • Must have completed at least 2 years of study.
  • Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the Master's degree are eligible to apply.
  • Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term.
