About The Position

ISPA Technology is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of configuration management processes for hardware, software, documentation, and technical data throughout the system lifecycle. The Configuration Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining configuration baselines, managing change control processes, supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and ensuring the integrity and traceability of program assets. This is a fast-paced and impactful position where your expertise will directly contribute to meeting critical Government customer requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 3 + years of professional experience in configuration management.
  • Knowledge of configuration management principles and lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with change control, configuration status accounting, and baseline management.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain configuration control of hardware, software, technical documentation, and product releases.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce configuration management policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities, including change request review, tracking, and implementation.
  • Manage configuration baselines and ensure accuracy of configuration records.
  • Track engineering changes and maintain configuration status accounting records.
  • Support audits, reviews, and verification activities to ensure compliance with configuration management requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, program management, quality assurance, and logistics personnel to maintain configuration integrity.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and metrics related to configuration management activities.
  • Provide guidance on change management and product configuration throughout the system lifecycle.
