About the position

The Concrete Flatwork Foreman at Summit Siteworks is responsible for overseeing concrete projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and managing crew efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including job superintendents, engineers, and homeowners. The foreman will also handle job-related paperwork and enforce company policies.

Responsibilities

• Research and examine data affecting the cost of working with concrete.
• Read and follow blueprints accurately.
• Conduct quality overviews of work and ensure safety on the job site.
• Care for equipment, trucks, and trailers responsibly.
• Shape and enforce company policies and job descriptions.
• Work professionally with job superintendents, engineers, architects, and homeowners.
• Ensure crew efficiency and provide timely information to the crew.
• Review weekly timesheets for accuracy.
• Handle all job-related paperwork promptly.
• Lead by example and demonstrate good communication skills.
• Solve problems quickly and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Motivate the crew positively.
