About The Position

The Concession Manager oversees all food, beverage, and retail concession operations at Greater Clark Co sporting events. This role is responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory and food safety standards, and maximizing sales and profitability during events and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, concessions, hospitality, or retail management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Experience with inventory management and cash handling
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily concession stand operations and staff performance
  • Recruit, hire, train, and schedule concession employees
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of food, beverages, and supplies
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Handle cash management, POS systems, and daily sales reporting
  • Track sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue
  • Coordinate setup and breakdown of concession areas for events
  • Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly
  • Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and venue management
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives
