About the position
The Computer Workstation Technician position at Rollout Systems involves providing technical support to customers, primarily in a hybrid work environment. The role requires a strong background in IT help desk support, particularly with Windows operating systems, and necessitates an active Top Secret security clearance. The technician will work closely with a team to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT help desk support for Windows 10/11 and related systems.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues for customers.
- Document incident statuses and solutions in management databases.
- Engage with customers to resolve technical problems via phone, chat, or self-service tickets.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance service delivery and problem resolution.
Requirements
- 2 years of computer help desk support experience.
- Working knowledge of service desk ticket handling and imaging machines.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers in both oral and written forms.
- Must hold IAT II 8570.01 certification with one of the specified security certifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Intermediate level Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals.
