The Computer Technician position at ABBTECH Professional Resources, in partnership with Dell, involves individual home PC deployment for remote users in Kannapolis, NC. This is a short-term contract role requiring technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure successful deployment and support of computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Individual home PC deployment for a remote user in Kannapolis, NC.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 1 year of experience with at least a CompTIA A+ certification or at least 2 years of experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working as an End User Computing PC/Laptop Deployment Team.
• Proven customer service background.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Strong ability to work independently.
• Detail-oriented, independent, self-starter, and customer service oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to be on your feet all day, including walking the entire building and up and down stairs.

Nice-to-haves

• MCP, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification is a plus.
• Certification in various hardware platforms may optionally be required for servicing hardware issues.
