The Computer Tech EMS role at Loyola involves supporting the Emergency Medical Services System (EMSS) by managing electronic reporting software, enhancing system operations, and supporting EMS education initiatives. Responsibilities

• Manage electronic reporting software for the Emergency Medical Services System (EMSS).
• Support EMS education initiatives and enhance system operations.
• Conduct data analysis to determine necessary actions for system improvements.
• Participate in updates to departmental procedures impacting pre-hospital policies.
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards for the Illinois Department of Public Health.
• Oversee the functionality of prehospital electronic reporting systems.
• Maintain network hardware and ensure alignment with the mission and strategic goals of the organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education (required).
• Associates Degree in EMT Training, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of previous job-related experience (required).
• 6-10 years of previous job-related experience (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification (required).
• EMS - Licensed EMT-Basic and/or Paramedic in the State of Illinois (required).
• Valid Illinois driver's license (required).
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
