About the position

The Compressor Technician at OTC Industrial Technologies is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing air compressors, pumps, gear boxes, and related rotating equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical background and excellent communication skills to provide detailed failure analysis and recommendations for improving equipment reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing air compressors, pumps, gear boxes, and related rotating equipment.
• Providing detailed failure analysis and equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance.
• Completing work reports detailing work performed, parts lists, and other required paperwork.
• Maintaining a service vehicle with proper equipment, tools, and parts for efficient servicing.
• Projecting a positive and professional image of Air Technologies to customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED degree.
• Multi-craft and/or technician experience desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-starter and highly motivated individual.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and organized work habits for unsupervised work.
• Commitment to the concept of 'doing it right the first time'.
• Technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License, able to complete a drug test and background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with rotating equipment servicing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
