Enterprise is a national nonprofit that exists to make a good home possible for the millions of families without one. We support community development organizations on the ground, aggregate and invest capital for impact, advance housing policy at every level of government, and build and manage communities ourselves. Since 1982, we have invested $72 billion and created 1 million homes across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands - all to make home and community places of pride, power and belonging. This is not a remote role. This role will require 100% travel throughout the Enterprise Residential portfolio of Richmond, Fairfax County, VA, Washington DC, Howard and Baltimore County locations. The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all third-party regulations at assigned property/properties. This position demands strong attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of affordable housing program regulations, particularly Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) rules related to acquisitions and resyndications, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will excel at working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders to maintain compliance with all applicable program requirements, while proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
