About the position

The Compliance Project Manager will oversee the analysis and validation of risk assessment drivers, review security-sensitive and government data, and manage the end-to-end clearance process to protect customer, employee, and supplier data. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance and security practices are upheld within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Project manages, reviews and prioritizes Global Clearance.
  • Partner with the application custodian teams and the client's Global Enablement Factory to identify and govern Government & Security solutions.
  • Collaborate with the application teams to validate risk assessment drivers - data elements, data mitigation, tools, scope of work, privileges.
  • Validates vendor clearance for SOW, SRP, locations vetted/approved.
  • Manages all facets and provides project level leadership for Compliance and Clearance projects that will improve risk posture for Corporate Systems.
  • Provides support across functional and organizational boundaries.
  • Communicates with other project team members to ensure a clear understanding of data security and compliance objectives, policies and requirements.
  • Collaborates and builds relationships with key application teams, Security and core business partners to enable continued Compliance education and awareness.
  • Tracks and provides regular project level metrics to understand the status of assigned projects and escalates issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Utilizes dashboards and tools to enhance monitoring of compliance activities and support organizational KPIs.
  • Drives implementation of process improvements and continued education on clearance policy and tools.
  • Conducts Government & Security Sensitivity data reviews and provides insights on role-based access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience or relevant certifications and training.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or enterprise level projects.
  • Strong organizational and communications skills.
  • Proven ability to partner with multi-tiered organizations.
  • Strong accountability and ownership of programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience interpreting and implementing policies and processes to ensure a strong control environment.
  • Experience in Software Development, Support and Project Management.
  • Experience leveraging auditing principles and methods to evaluate policies, processes and systems to identify business risks and control gaps.
  • Demonstrated organizational, facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with report writing/database.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and project plans.
