About the position

The Compensation & Total Rewards Specialist at Dine Development Corporation is responsible for designing and implementing competitive compensation and total rewards programs that attract and retain top talent. This role involves collaborating with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, conducting market research, managing employee compensation administration, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The specialist will also analyze compensation data, prepare reports for senior leadership, and act as a subject matter expert on compensation matters.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and administer comprehensive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Manage the administration of employee compensation, including salary reviews and incentive plans.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in compensation and advise the HR team on improvements.
  • Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with finance and payroll departments for seamless processing of compensation information.
  • Assist in developing communication materials to help employees understand their total rewards package.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compensation matters and address employee inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain fair treatment of employees.
  • Oversee performance development and annual review processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist or similar HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform decisions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and relevant software, including Excel.
  • Familiarity with employment laws related to compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Collaborative and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, CBP).
  • Experience within Government Contractor Corporate office.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
