We are seeking an experienced global compensation leader for a Compensation Manager role in Talent Services. The key responsibilities are guiding the development, enhancements, and implementation of employee compensation programs companywide, and managing our annual compensation processes. Compensation is a significant lever in providing a competitive edge for attracting and retaining critical talent.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of compensation programs (base pay, short term incentive (STIP), retention and other financial rewards programs), inclusive of all locations/regions, that align with and support our organizational strategy
  • Support Compensation Director with Executive Compensation programs
  • Ensure the successful administration of the annual rate review, STIP (annual incentive program) and support LTIP processes
  • Lead the Company's pay equity analysis, and collaborate with key strategic partners in HR and Risk Management to support leadership in determining necessary actions as appropriate
  • Oversee the management of a comprehensive data library of market surveys, industry practices and competitive intelligence to support the Company's pay position consistent with its Philosophy
  • Provide effective leadership of staff to ensure key deliverables and projects are accomplished successfully, within budget and on-time
  • Work closely with HR leadership in reviewing design changes, associated costs, analysis/impacts and implementation of plans
  • Provide input to team budget including costs from a variety of salary survey vendors, consultants, and software providers
  • Ensure that all compensation processes and procedures are consistent with the Company's SOX requirements and are legally compliant with national and local compensation laws
  • In partnership with other Compensation Manager, monitor the effectiveness of the Company's pay programs
  • Work closely with IT to enhance compensation-related systems to improve efficiency and improve customer user experience

Requirements

  • CCP, GRP, CHRP or PHR is an asset
  • Demonstrated experience leading a strategic compensation design function for a large global company
  • Proven leadership skills guiding a team of compensation subject matter professionals through multiple priorities with a focus on action-oriented results
  • Distinguished in establishing effective relationships with executive leaders, colleagues in Risk, Finance, HR operations and business partner teams
  • Highly effective in communicating complex compensation concepts and design elements
  • Respected for balancing strategic and operational tasks with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing demands
  • Regarded as an exceptional communicator and able to influence a broad and diverse range of stakeholders through effective relationships, verbal, and written communication
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Proficient MS Office Suite skills preferred
