About the position
Bennett On-Site Services, part of the Bennett Family of Companies, is looking for skilled Company Drivers in our newly opened Morrow, GA Terminal! The position involves safely operating a tractor-trailer owned by BOSS for loading, securement, and hauling of miscellaneous company-owned and client-owned equipment. Compliance with all DOT requirements is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Maintain current, clean CDL and keep all log books updated and complete.
- Perform all required inspections for the truck and tractors and maintain all assigned equipment to these units.
- Safely operate a tractor trailer following all DOT guidelines.
- Secure equipment as per guidelines to ensure safe hauling operations.
- Keep all equipment clean and serviced at all times and properly report any defect to your assigned equipment.
- Understand and comply with all DOT regulations and BOSS's safety and employee handbooks.
- When not performing driving functions, assist as rigger and/or other work specified by supervisor.
Requirements
- 2 years flatbed experience pulling machinery
- Drive tractor trailer and safely load, secure and haul various equipment
- Load securement
- High School or Equivalent
