About The Position
This is a per diem CRC position for the Naukeag and LEADER residential programs. This position is located in Belmont, MA. Under direction of the Program Director and Nurse Manager, the Community Residence Counselor (CRC) provides direct patient care and participates in therapeutic milieu within the scope of defined practice.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Medication Administration Program Certified [MAP - Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Department of Public Health required
- One-year patient care or related experience preferred, preferably in a psychiatric setting
- All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems (PRISM) for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
- Familiarity with Epic preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care through group and individual counseling in accordance with current treatment plan.
- Works effectively to manage the therapeutic milieu.
- Supervises patients in taking medication as prescribed.
- Assists patients in their activities of daily living.
- Maintains a commitment to professional growth and competency.
