About the position

As a Community Manager at Mark-Taylor, you will oversee the daily operations of a luxury multifamily community, ensuring exceptional customer service for residents and prospective residents. This role involves financial management, team leadership, and strategic planning to meet occupancy goals and enhance property performance.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed targeted revenue expectations by setting rent rates and managing operating expenses.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports with intuitive forecasting and proactive financial performance planning.
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of administrative and service personnel, coordinating their activities and individual goals.
  • Oversee the hiring process and ongoing employee performance management through courageous conversations and applicable HR processes.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and propose resolution plans for property enhancements.
  • Develop and implement strategic leasing plans to achieve occupancy goals, engaging in leasing efforts such as conducting property tours and closing leases.

Requirements

  • 3+ years people management experience.
  • 3+ years operational experience in luxury multifamily setting.
  • 1+ years of lease-up experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated coaching and development ability.
  • BA degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Financial acumen with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presence.
  • Experience using Resman, Yardi, or similar is especially desirable.
  • A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a luxury multifamily setting.
  • Familiarity with property management software like Resman or Yardi.
