About the position

The Community Manager at YES Communities plays a crucial leadership role in managing the operations of manufactured housing communities. This position involves overseeing staff, addressing resident concerns, and ensuring the financial success and safety of the community. The Community Manager is responsible for various operational tasks, including rent collection, staff development, and maintaining a positive community environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, marketing, and advertising plans
  • Oversee sales of new, used, and foreclosed homes
  • Collect all rent and loan payments to meet company delinquency expectations
  • Maximize community occupancy and leased home income
  • Professionally resolve resident complaints and concerns
  • Provide hands-on leadership and management to all team members
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff
  • Create and maintain a positive community environment including resident activities
  • Communicate and manage policies and procedures
  • Create and ensure a safe work environment
  • Protect and maintain company assets
  • Control expenses
  • Maintain professional behavior without interfering with the work of others or disturbing residents

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in property management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage staff performance
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office software products
