About the position

The Community Banking Relationship Manager at Zions Bank is responsible for generating and developing new client acquisitions while deepening existing customer relationships. This role involves significant outside sales efforts and collaboration with business partners to enhance lending, investment, treasury, and deposit relationships. The manager will co-manage client portfolios to increase profitability and ensure high levels of client satisfaction, all while adhering to banking regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, discover, and develop new client acquisition through outside sales opportunities, spending 50%-70% of time on this task.
  • Deepen and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Involve business partners to generate, retain, and expand lending, investment, treasury, and deposit relationships.
  • Co-manage with designated portfolio manager to increase client profitability.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Understand and manage both business and consumer credit requests.
  • Comply with applicable company policies and banking regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Considerable knowledge of credit associated lending, loan structuring, financial strategy, and customer development.
  • Strong sales and networking acumen.
  • Ability to work effectively with designated Portfolio Manager and other individuals across the company.
  • Working knowledge of applicable lending policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
