About the position

The Communications Lead, Enterprise Growth at Humana is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that support the Enterprise Growth organization, particularly focusing on the distribution team, MarketPoint. This role involves leading internal communications, advising teams on best practices, and providing executive-level support to senior leaders. The ideal candidate will leverage data to enhance communication practices and foster collaborative relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal communications strategy for the Enterprise Growth organization, focusing on message delivery and employee engagement.
  • Advise teams and leaders on best practices for internal communication and deliver tactical plans and materials.
  • Counsel business partners on communication strategies and execution, recommending innovative connection methods with stakeholders.
  • Leverage data to implement new or enhanced communications practices for improved effectiveness and reach.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Corporate Communications colleagues and company leadership.
  • Demonstrate exceptional presentation, writing, and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Champion new ways of working through digital tools for greater efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in journalism, communications, public relations, or relevant field.
  • 10+ years of recent experience in corporate communications focused on healthcare, executive communications, and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated history of developing, implementing, and measuring integrated communications strategies that drive results.
  • Experience building and maintaining best-in-class communications experiences using a multi-channel approach.
  • Ability to deploy enterprise communications programs to targeted stakeholders and business functions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Self-organized with the ability to independently plan, lead, and implement integrated communications projects.
