About The Position

The Communications Clerk provides multi-line phone coverage for the facility in conjunction with reception and clerical duties. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. As the first point of contact for our hospital, you’ll be the friendly face and reassuring voice that sets the tone for every experience. Your role is more than answering phones or greeting guests—you’ll be the heartbeat of our front desk, ensuring smooth operations, supporting multiple teams, and making every patient, visitor or vendor feel welcome.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Requires multi-line phone system experience.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide multi-line phone coverage for the facility.
  • Perform reception and clerical duties.
  • Warmly welcome and provide information to patients, visitors and vendors.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain a tidy, organized reception area that reflects our hospital’s professionalism.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and mail handling.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
