About The Position

The Commercial Tire Outside Sales Professional is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while generating sales growth within assigned commercial accounts and territories. This position serves as the primary point of contact for fleet and commercial customers by identifying tire and service needs, presenting solutions, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience
  • Commercial tire and/or automotive industry experience
  • Proven demonstration of strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial tire products, fleet operations, and preventative maintenance programs is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in computer applications and sales-related software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing commercial customers.
  • Generate sales through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and customer visits.
  • Identify customer tire, service, and fleet maintenance needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing for customers in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with service, warehouse, and management teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Monitor customer accounts and maintain accurate sales records and documentation.
  • Resolve customer concerns and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular follow-up visits and communications to maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain knowledge of tire products, industry trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance expectations.
  • Promote company programs, products, and services to maximize customer retention and growth.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and company events as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform customer Fleet inspections as needed.
