About the position

The Commercial Sales Analyst at NRG plays a crucial role in the Channel Partner Sales Department, focusing on managing relationships with third-party broker channels and achieving sales goals for commercial energy products. This position involves executing pricing requests, managing client commitments, and promoting NRG's services across various service territories. The analyst will also contribute to inter-departmental strategies and ensure effective communication regarding pricing performance.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve predetermined sales goals by executing deal-specific requests and proposals for renewing customers' Energy Service Agreements.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and contract language to assist third-party broker channels.
  • Promote NRG Energy branded products and services in service territories.
  • Manage relationships with third-party broker channels to maximize closing ratios and profits on renewal sales.
  • Resolve account management issues via broker email requests.
  • Act as a market expert on NRG Energy products, value propositions, trends, and commercial sustainability benefits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Effective presentation skills for group speaking and educating third-party broker partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong data and analytic skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for account management research and resolution.
  • Effective and efficient in using Microsoft Office programs.
