Commercial Quote Coordinator

About the position

The Commercial Quote Coordinator position is based in Elmwood Park, NJ, and reports directly to the General Manager. This role involves working closely with customers and vendors to produce bids and customer pricing based on plans and specifications. The coordinator will be responsible for various tasks including equipment cross-referencing, creating submittal packages for contractors, maintaining job files, generating customer sales and orders, and managing customer deliveries. The position also requires effective handling of customer service issues and supporting the Outside Sales team.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and vendors to produce bids / customer pricing from plan and spec
• Equipment cross referencing / sourcing
• Create submittal packages for contractors as needed
• Create and maintain job files both electronically in job folders
• Generate customer sales / orders
• Attain specialty material through the use of purchase orders
• Schedule and manage customer deliveries
• Effectively handle customer service issues
• Manage credits to FW Webb standards
• Support Outside Sales team
• Reporting for inventory, sales and job tracking
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, internet, e-mail and web browsers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
