About the position
As a Commercial Pest Control Technician at Orkin, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pest control services to customers in a designated service area. This role involves extensive training, safety protocols, and a commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction. You will work independently, manage your route, and utilize your problem-solving skills to address pest issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Complete award-winning training to learn necessary skills and knowledge for customer service.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Follow a route schedule and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer's location.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as a problem solver for customers by understanding their needs and recommending solutions.
- Meet with customers to explain actions taken and discuss additional services.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of customer properties.
- Complete all required service-related documentation using a handheld device.
Requirements
- No experience required; training provided.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment.
