The Commercial Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the Commercial Operations and the Gene Therapy Leadership team (Catalent Maryland), by providing analyst support on forecasting and reporting of Gene Therapy opportunities and commercial activities not limited to Pricing, QAR/Change order writing, as well as supporting Commercial Operations Managers. This position will not have direct reports. This is a full-time onsite position working Days; Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare advanced analyses to identify and communicate trends and drivers to the business
  • Win/Loss Analysis: analyze win/loss data from CRM
  • Support Pricing Analytics, Price value tracking and QAR/Change order management process
  • Develop and maintain a sustainable process for site profitability analysis by client program and scope of work
  • Forecast and support revenue capture from licensing milestones
  • Maintain KPI metrics for Com Ops/BioModalties(Gene Therapy) reporting
  • Develop visual dashboards for Com Ops / Modality Business Leaders and Supporting Operational teams as needed
  • Build and maintain platforms to support information flow (e.g. Sharepoint)
  • Support S&OP demand forecasting
  • Support proposal team to track and analyze proposal metrics
  • Support revenue and manufacturing resource forecasting
  • Analyze contracting processes and develop business process flow charts
  • Support strategic initiatives and automated processes for the Commercial Ops and Pricing groups
  • Other responsibilities, as directed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Two years Large Molecules biologics experience/knowledge preferred
  • Experience in a business analytics role preferred
  • Extensive experience with data analysis and visualization tools including MS excel, Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Experience with JDE/ERP a plus
  • Experience building and maintaining platform site on SharePoint
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as SalesForce
  • Demonstrates self-motivation, creativity, and action-oriented thinking, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, convey complex findings concisely, and work independently with flexibility and professionalism
