About the position

Axon is seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst to support both our Sales and Finance teams. This is a highly visible role where you'll play a key part in structuring complex deals and ensuring a seamless customer experience. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment - someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do next, but also values collaboration, feedback, and continuous learning. You'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that works cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial Controllership, Order Processing, and Accounts Receivable. You'll receive training, mentorship, and resources - and in turn, we'll count on you to take ownership of your work, drive things forward, and proactively solve problems as they come up. At Axon, we value people who think critically, take pride in their work, and care deeply about getting things right. If you're motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in a dynamic environment - we'd love to meet you.

  • Support sales reps with guidance on deal formats and non-standard quote requests, including Excel file supplements and custom reporting
  • Analyze existing customer contracts to identify performance obligations and ensure proper invoicing and documentation
  • Maintain accuracy in Salesforce (CRM), including custom contract terms, pricing, and discounting - including heavy use of Salesforce CPQ
  • Participate in testing for new product launches and system updates to ensure smooth business process changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely, accurate execution of deals
  • Contribute to team-wide efforts, projects, and process improvements as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years in sales operations, pricing, or commercial operations
  • A strong finance orientation and attention to detail, particularly with numbers and data sets
  • Salesforce.com CRM platform experience (CPQ preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFs, what-ifs, templates, etc.)
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • A proactive mindset - you take ownership of your work and seek out solutions
  • A collaborative approach - you're comfortable asking questions, sharing knowledge, and working as part of a team
  • A service-oriented attitude and comfort navigating cross-functional discussions
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-changing environment

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and 401k with employer match
  • Discretionary paid time off
  • Paid parental leave for all
  • Medical, Dental, Vision plans
  • Fitness Programs
  • Emotional & Mental Wellness support
  • Learning & Development programs
  • And yes, we have snacks in our offices
