About the position
The Commercial Lines Account Manager at King Risk Partners is responsible for managing a book of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance business. This role involves ensuring accurate processing of new and renewal insurance policy tasks, tracking policy expirations, and providing support in business workflows. The position emphasizes client satisfaction, relationship building, and continuous professional development within the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance business.
- Ensure all new and renewal insurance policy tasks are processed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Track policy expirations for existing clients.
- Work proactively to facilitate renewals.
- Support Account Managers, Account Executives, or Producers in new and renewal business workflows.
- Conduct client research and gather complete underwriting information.
- Perform Loss Run Analysis and prepare accurate submissions including Acord applications.
- Bind coverage and comply with any subjectivity required by carriers.
- Review all policies for discrepancies and ensure necessary changes are submitted to the carrier.
- Build positive relationships with clients to grow loyalty and provide high levels of service.
- Continually grow insurance expertise and management/leadership skills.
Requirements
- An active Property & Casualty license.
- 2 - 5 years of commercial lines experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- High school diploma or GED.
