About the position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager position at a growing insurance brokerage in Irvine, CA, involves managing client accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and consulting on coverage options. Responsibilities

  • Stay in direct contact with clients and provide excellent customer service.
  • Consult with clients on coverage options and offer the most appropriate coverage for the client.
  • Market new and renewal business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers.
  • Conduct initial review of policies and prepare coverage breakdowns.
  • Respond to correspondence, telephone, and in-person inquiries from insureds regarding coverage, policy changes, premium payments, and related matters.
  • Assist in gathering renewal exposure information with the producer.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Property & Casualty license required.
  • 3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience at a retail brokerage.
  • Experience with large-sized commercial accounts on a generalist book of business.
  • Proficiency in Applied Epic.
  • In-depth knowledge of various insurance coverages, products, and agency procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of experience in Commercial Lines Account Management (Preferred)
