About the position

The Commercial Insurance Account Executive is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of risk management business across various industries such as real estate, manufacturing, public entities, and education. This role serves as a strategic liaison, overseeing service delivery, onboarding new clients, and managing renewals for existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and execution of renewal marketing strategies.
  • Analyze current plans and identify coverage gaps.
  • Work with underwriters to secure competitive and comprehensive insurance for clients.
  • Oversee client delivery and account management tasks.
  • Balance detailed account management duties with delegating tasks to account managers.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of commercial insurance industry experience in a Senior Account Manager or Lead Account Executive capacity.
  • Broad knowledge of risk management in Commercial P&C insurance for accounts generating at least $25k in revenue, often between $2MM-$4MM in premium.
  • Strong underwriting relationships and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to guide clients through the entire account life cycle, from onboarding to renewal.
