About the position

The Commercial Electrical Maintenance Sales position at Bopat Electric Company involves presenting the company to potential commercial customers and qualifying opportunities to obtain competitive and profitable commercial service agreement sales. The role is focused on building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying prospects across various industries, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies and sales proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects in the industrial, data center, government, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, and property management markets.
  • Effectively develop and communicate professional sales proposals to clients.
  • Maintain reporting of leads, in-progress active prospects, and sales forecasts.
  • Weekly update of sales call planning, upcoming schedules, and customer follow-up.
  • Contribute to the development of products/services and marketing strategies through creative packaging of company capabilities.
  • Increase and maintain profitable sales by working with customers to identify and satisfy their needs.
  • Proactively target and establish relationships with prospects and vendor allies to meet sales objectives.
  • Establish working relationships to address customer needs and discuss sales strategy within the company.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding market penetration and customer issues.
  • Develop and drive winning customer action plans to successful closure to meet sales objectives.
  • Prepare complete, clear, and concise reports, proposals, and required company paperwork in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 2+ years successful track record in sales
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
  • Understanding of NEC, FFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, and OSHA requirements
  • Proven ability to manage and communicate large amounts of information
  • Sufficient understanding of electrical systems to accurately appraise and inventory system components
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
