About the position

The Commercial Director - Training Services (CDS) at Airbus Americas, Inc. is responsible for building training services offers, including pricing and all other terms and conditions, for all standard offers which can be set up regionally. The role involves contributing to training services sales campaigns and negotiations from early marketing to contract execution and full implementation, in coordination with the Commercial Account Director (CAD) and other internal constituencies. The CDS will actively participate in and collaborate on aircraft sales campaigns by bringing expert knowledge and experience of the Airbus Training Services Business Line. The position also requires contributing to the achievement of yearly services targets associated with the Airbus Training Service Business Line in terms of sales order intake, market share, and customer-specific goals. The CDS will conduct training services sales campaigns to a successful end and participate in the training sales campaigns with customers by utilizing all available resources.

Responsibilities

  • Build training services offers, including pricing and all other terms and conditions.
  • Contribute to training services sales campaigns and negotiations from early marketing to contract execution.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Account Director and other internal constituencies.
  • Participate in aircraft sales campaigns by providing expert knowledge of the Airbus Training Services Business Line.
  • Achieve yearly services targets in terms of sales order intake, market share, and customer-specific goals.
  • Conduct training services sales campaigns to a successful end.
  • Utilize resources such as Product Sales Managers, Sales Operations Managers, Marketing Manager, and BL experts in training sales campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in aviation training services sales.
  • Experience with commercial aviation, including evaluating training customer needs for pilots and mechanics.
  • Experience with direct or indirect sales of aerospace products and services.
  • Experience working with aerospace training contracts and negotiations.
  • Experience working with airline flight operations to evaluate appropriate training needs.
  • Up to 70% domestic and international travel required for business meetings and contract negotiations.
  • Telework permitted up to 2 days per week.
