About The Position

Are you an experienced commercial lender who enjoys building relationships in your community? We are looking for a sales-oriented professional to provide outstanding customer service in our commercial lending division. As a commercial lender, you will analyze and manage existing commercial relationships along with investigating and developing opportunities to attract new customers. With active engagement in the community, you will cultivate relationships and promote the image and services of the bank. You will utilize your deep knowledge of commercial banking to understand the customers’ or prospects’ business and personal needs in order to establish and negotiate terms for extending credit and cross selling other services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 year’s Commercial Lending experience
  • Strong technical lending skills with the ability to analyze financial statements
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation
  • Proven track record in selling, negotiating, building relationships and cross selling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail in creating professional presentations

Responsibilities

  • Generate new lending relationships while managing and existing portfolio of clients.
  • Increase loan portfolio and improve penetration into the communities we serve.
  • Analyze information that reflects the creditworthiness of current customers and the merits of existing loans through inspections of the collateral, review of interim financial reports, and other means.
  • Cultivate relationships and promote the image and services of the bank.
  • Understand customer or prospect business and personal needs to establish and negotiate terms for extending credit and cross-selling other services.
