About the position

Caliber Collision is seeking a dedicated Collision Estimator to join our team in Niagara Falls. This position is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support throughout the collision repair process. As a Collision Estimator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include writing detailed estimates for repairs, conducting thorough process reviews, and checking in customer vehicles. You will also be tasked with completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery, which includes managing Direct Repair Program (DRP) documentation and final invoices. Additionally, you will finalize total loss administration and provide comprehensive post-repair communication to customers, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles while adhering to all Caliber safety rules, guidelines, and company standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to earn a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on your experience and performance. Responsibilities

  • Writing detailed estimates for vehicle repairs
  • Conducting process reviews to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Checking in customer vehicles upon arrival
  • Completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery, including DRP and final invoices
  • Finalizing total loss administration
  • Providing post-repair communication to customers, including vehicle status updates
  • Adhering to all safety rules and guidelines set by Caliber Collision

Requirements

  • 2+ years of collision estimating experience; sales experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company insurance policy
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
  • Must possess a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License
  • Prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of the repair process and procedures
  • Strong sales orientation
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment
