About the position

A loving and collaborative family based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, is seeking an experienced and adaptable nanny to provide full-time, rotational childcare for their 2-year-old son. The role involves 24-hour coverage during a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule, with flexibility for travel and overnights. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing environment, engage in developmental activities, and work alongside a hands-on mom and other household staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 2-year-old child.
• Plan and facilitate engaging and enriching activities.
• Prepare basic meals for the child.
• Handle child-related household tasks such as meal prep, tidying, and organizing children's areas.
• Coordinate before and after school routines and activities.
• Travel with the family throughout the year as needed.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with family members and household staff.

Requirements

• 3 years of professional childcare experience.
• Knowledge and experience with toddlers.
• Valid passport and driver's license.
• Experience traveling with families and children.
• Ability to swim and care for children in and near water.
• Comfortable preparing basic meals for children.
• Experience working in a team environment.
