About the position
Adventure Nannies is seeking a loving and collaborative ROTA nanny for a dynamic family in Lake Oswego, Oregon. The ideal candidate will provide attentive care for their 2-year-old son, ensuring a nurturing and engaging environment. This full-time position involves a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, with responsibilities including planning enriching activities, meal preparation, and maintaining open communication with the family and other staff members.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour coverage while on duty during the rotational schedule.
- Create an engaging and loving environment for the child.
- Plan and facilitate enriching activities for the toddler.
- Perform child-related household tasks including meal prep and organizing children's areas.
- Coordinate activities and travel with the family throughout the year.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with the family and other household members.
Requirements
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with a toddler age range
- Valid passport
- Valid driver's license
- Experience traveling with families and children
- Comfortable preparing basic meals for children
- Experience working in a team environment
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water.
