About the position

The position involves cold calling for security guard services, focusing on developing new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships. The role requires an experienced sales person or security operations manager to effectively communicate the company's services and set appointments for proposals. The candidate will work full-time from the Portland office and will be compensated with a base hourly rate plus commission.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calls to identify and develop new business opportunities for security services.
  • Follow up on marketing leads and expand current client business.
  • Provide detailed daily call reports including client contact names, company information, and potential business size.
  • Explain security services in detail to potential clients and set multiple appointments each day.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Products and LinkedIn for prospecting and reporting.

Requirements

  • 3 years of cold calling experience.
  • 3 years of senior security management experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent telephone sales and customer service skills.
  • Strong prospecting and motivation for sales.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in security supervisory management in security guard services.
  • Telemarketing experience.
  • Ability to handle rejection with professionalism.
